We have been encouraged and expectant that God is wanting to do ‘new things’ at Cranleigh Community Church. There is also great excitement at the arrival of Deon and Anna in the near future. As a leadership we believe it is right that everyone should be open to whatever God wants to do in us, as individuals and also corporately. The following declaration is our commitment to that willingness and preparedness:

We make the following declarations and prayers in the Name of Jesus Christ:

We declare Jesus Christ as our Lord and King. He is the way, the truth and the life. His Name will be glorified in all that we say and do at Cranleigh Community Church. His Kingdom come, His will be done on earth, in us at Cranleigh Community Church, on earth, as it is in heaven.

We give thanks for everything that has been done in the past in Your Name.

We thanks You for the faithfulness of individuals, leaders, staff and many others who have served You over the years.

We thank You for those who in the past, have pioneered new moves of Your Spirit, steered us through challenges and change and lovingly served You and the people of Cranleigh Community Church.

But now, this day we come to You as Your people. Prepare us, O Lord for what you are about to do in our midst. We are confident of this very thing that He who begun a good work in us will complete it until the Day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6). No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly (Psalm 84:11).

We declare that as Your people at Cranleigh Community Church we will love and serve the Lord, working together in unity.

We repent of and renounce anything that prevents us from participating in what God wants to do among us. In the Name of Jesus we break and take off from our lives all offence, disappointment, hurt, criticism, past failure, religious spirits and anything that hinders of blocks the move of the Holy Spirit among us.

We refuse the lies of the enemy. We are not spectators. Each one of us is important and has a vital part in God’s Kingdom.

We receive your forgiveness, cleansing and restoration.

Transform us within. Come fill us with the power of Your Holy Spirit. Renew our first love for You and ignite us with the fire of passion and zeal again. Equip us to be the people you want us to be – A people prepared for your Presence and Glory.”
